Two close friends, Jeremy and Brendan Smyth, have put on an experimental film festival in our city for years. I was very honored to contribute this poster design for this year's festival.

Special Project: Starbucks

In 2023, I was commissioned to paint four 48" x 48" paintings for the generous folks at the Starbucks Art Program. They gave me the opportunity to adapt my style to tell a story about the stages of coffee making; from growing, harvesting, drying, and finally, roasting. The paintings were completed in early 2024, crated and shipped to Seattle where they are displayed in Starbucks' HQ.

This is a collection of hastily taken photos of the project. I will be the first to admit I could be much better at photographing my work!!

Special Project: REI Veteran's Day

In late Summer of '23, the kind folks in REI's creative department reached out for an original digital design to commemorate Veteran's Day. While it isn't easy to reflect on my feelings about my own military service (USAF '03-'14) and turn it into abstract art, I am extremely happy with how it turned out--I especially love the template REI used to display it. The digital image was used as a backdrop on employee workstations, and the 10" x 16" printed version was hung up in office areas.
